Epigenetics - Integrating the Whole Person (Workshop Title)
Finding balance is a constant trial for all of us. As individuals, we face pressures that can overwhelm us physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally. The “Dance” of these parts determines whether we thrive or breakdown. As we discover how and why these areas influence each other, we can set in motion ‘healing’ influences that empower us to heal and thrive. Our thriving can in turn foster others for living victoriously too.
Understanding how the disease process can be turned into a healing process of ‘Super-natural’ integration – ‘Scripturally speaking’
Develop a working model that integrates the main components to living victoriously no matter what life may ‘throw at us.’

About the speaker:
Dr. Sowles is privileged to be both a husband, and a father of four, so he finds his life full of opportunities to continue developing relationally. Further interests in what impacts 'health' has included such areas as agriculture, hunting, fishing, politics and theology - all fitting well with 30 years of serving others. His journey into 'people-helping' started as a camp counselor. Integrating his faith with professional practice typifies his daily service style so that the whole person is served. Similarly, being trained in the field of Neuropsychology, that integrates the fields of psychology and neurology, daily helped develop his understanding of the ‘brain-body’ relationship – a relationship that also requires constant balancing with the emotional and spiritual sides of us. His hope is you will get energized by finding this balance for yourself and gain tools in your service to others.

Anger - The Emotion Nobody Wants to Have
Sometimes we're taught that anger is a dangerous emotion that good people don't experience. Or that if it is experienced, it should be quickly squelched. The truth is that Jesus experienced this emotion, expressed it in several different ways, and never sinned. This workshop will teach about the different meanings of anger, as well as how to invest it, rather than simply react to it.
All ages, including young children, frequently can get relief from traumatic experiences in minutes rather than months.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a drug-free, self-help technique that can relieve anything from minor stress and upset, to panic attacks, debilitating grief, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, migraine headaches, fibromyalgia, and many other emotional and physical pains. Even lifelong issues can be resolved, often very quickly.
